Fully validated & CFR compliant vision systems are a key market for Phasor and the imaging techniques required in this field constitutes a major part of the R&D activities carried out by the company.

Through the pouch or package imaging systems have been developed for a number of customers to  check full products or contamination in seal areas which could affect product sterility.

These systems work totally online at web speeds of up to 60 metres/min, 12 dressings per second. Systems have been installed on Doyen, Harro Hoefliger & Eurosicma web conversion lines.

Systems capability has been extended to  not only cover end of line fully pouched products but to  also inspect web and dressing materials prior to  pouching for dimensions, contamination and damage.

Advances in low cost OCV and OCR intelligent camera systems has enabled full verification of product over print batch code data to  be inspected.

The latest systems have been configured with fully protected internet access, so that with the use of a control PC all cameras can be programmed, configured and updated remotely - the cost saving benefit to  the customer is high and this enables Phasor to offer worldwide support.
